Our home is conveniently located in the center of OBX between the beach and sound, close to restaurants, fishing piers, sight seeing, and shopping. There is a great beach access directly out Colington Rd, just a 4 min drive with free parking, beach patrol, and showers. Walking distance to Wright Brothers Monument, skate and dog park, library and sound. Beach and many restaurants within 1 mile, as well as Publix, Food Lion, and Target all less than a mile.

600 Mbps internet service is available and wifi password is posted in the arrival guide. We have Xumo streaming in the living room and one 2nd floor master bedroom, while all (3) bedroom TVs are new streaming devices. Loft area has streaming TV connected to Xbox, and garage game room has streaming TV available and Xbox as well.

The community is great for families and kids. Quiet in the evenings and overnight with the majority of the community you find are also vacationing families.

You have access to the whole house. Door access code to gain entry. Three floors - 1st floor garage converted to game room. 2nd floor, 2 bedrooms and ensuite bath, each with queen bed and each with private balconies. 3rd floor, kitchen, powder room, living room w/ deck, and kids loft/bedroom, play area.

Enjoy coffee in the morning on either master balcony. Have dinner al fresco off the kitchen/living room balcony. When its sunny spend your days on the beach and our resort style pool. Get a workout in at the gym. When it rains we have a ton for everyone in the garage game room and with the Xbox consoles.

We have added our own creature comforts that we want when we visit and make this feel like our home away from home. We do our best to make your stay comfortable as if it were your home as well.

We are remote and visit KDH approximately once a month. Mike and Michele can be reached by phone or text through the Airbnb app before or after booking.

We come and stay often. We check on maintenance and cleanliness. However, if anything seems off, missing, needs maintained, or simply suggestions to make guests more comfortable, please let us know. We will address those needs as soon as possible.

In Kill Devil Hills, there are a few public beach access points that have showers and bathrooms. Some of the popular spots include:

1. Ocean Bay Boulevard Beach Access: This is one of the most popular access points. It has a large parking area, showers, restrooms, and a wooden walkway to the beach.

2. Avalon Pier Beach Access:
Located near the Avalon Fishing Pier, this access point offers restrooms and outdoor showers.

3. Byrd Street Beach Access:
Another access point with restrooms and showers available, though it might be a bit smaller than Ocean Bay.

4. Hayman Boulevard Beach Access: This access has parking, showers, and restrooms, and it’s typically less crowded than Ocean Bay.

These spots are generally well-maintained, providing easy access to the beach with amenities for a comfortable visit.
