BLUE FLAG BEACHES

The Blue Flag is a certification given to beaches by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). A beach that has been awarded the blue flag means that it meets the organisation's standards of environmental management. These standards are for water quality, safety, and publicenvironmental education. Local governments try to get the Blue Flag for their beaches and marinas, to show people that they have high environmental and quality standards.

<p> </p><h2>The Baladrar cove</h2><p>Is located at a thought of Benissa, a moment from Calpe and barely three words from Moraira you will find the Cala del Baladrar, a caprice of the gods that for some strange reason they left forgotten and that Nature decided to preserve for our enjoyment. For some it is a magical place, but what is certain is that its undoubted magnetism is captured at dawn or at sunset, in its clear luminosity during the day or in the warm breeze that at night takes land a few meters of us. A place where the sea breeze makes summer nights magical and fresh, it is a place to enjoy, rest and relax. The Baladrar cove has crystal clear and turquoise waters that make the walks a marvel.</p>

One of the network of lookout points, this attractive spot affords one of the most frequently photographed coastal landscapes. It is 150 metres long and 10 metres high. It is a quiet beach.</p>

<p> </p><h2>Beach Les Platgetes</h2><p>On the slopes of the landscaped promenade along the Moraira-Calpe road, are two small, consecutive coves alternating sand and rocks. They boast clean waters and are protected from strong waves by two small natural breakwaters.
