Relax at this peaceful hideaway on on the sound which is home to manatees, dolphin, fish, blue crab and migratory birds. Cobbs Cove is within minutes of Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach, fabulous restaurants and the Gulf Breeze Zoo. Fish from the dock or take advantage of on-site kayaks to explore the shallows. Relax on an expansive deck while grilling an evening meal or check out the Soundside Nature Preserve, an excellent birding site and nature trail, about 3 miles from the house.
A beachy, privately owned coastal property which has been in the family for 50 years. Many items are hand made or handed down. This home has been designed and decorated with love, and intended to bring families together for memories made.

As a Florida native, I grew up fishing, sailing, and exploring the western Gulf Coast and right here on this very property which has been in our family for over 50 years. My husband and I have 3 boys and 6 beautiful grandchildren. I've worked in the field of mapping and conservation for over 20 years, and love bird photography and wilderness travel. Finally, I can't leave out our furry children who are 3 bully-breed canines named Molly, Rainey and Ella.

Limited parking is available under the house for two vehicles. Locals often walk and bike along our street so feel free to bring your bikes!

Check In: 3PM - 8PM

Within 3 days of your scheduled arrival, driving directions and reminders will be provided by email. Access codes for the keypad lock will be provided within 24 hours of check-in.

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

Families and responsible adults are welcome at Cobb's Cove. To keep our home in great shape for future guests, guests will be expected to complete and return a signed rental agreement.

House Rules

Quiet time after 10 p.m.; this is a no vaping or smoking home, no fireworks or campfires allowed on property or dock.

No groups, excessive noise/partying or special events

Lifeguard is not on duty - swim at your own risk

Pets, if approved, are not to be allowed on the furniture

No diving from the dock - water depth is ~4' deep at high tide

No use of fireworks are allowed on the property or dock

Do not transport kayaks over the large rocks at shoreline; carry to dock and slide into water [life jackets are not provided - Use at your own risk]

Tampering of any electronic or wifi-enabled devices is strictly prohibited and considered grounds for termination of the stay with no refund.

If stains are found on linens and these cannot be removed with normal cleaning, a linen replacement fee of $50 per stay will be charged.

Things to Know:

A Florida fishing license is required to fish from a dock

SAFETY!! An oyster reef is located ~15 feet offshore and ~20 feet east of the dock and is not visible at high tide; USE CAUTION

SAFETY!! Barnacles grow on structures (like the dock below the water) and can be sharp

Payment Policy

Preferred payment methods are: Venmo @CobbsCove or cash. Please just let me know if you would like to arrange Venmo or cash payment. Credit cards are accepted through the HOUFY website via STRIPE plus a 4% transaction fee. This covers the initial credit card fee charged to me and any potential handling fee by the credit card company if refunds are necessary.

Cancellation Policy

Additionally, if for any reason beyond our control (acts of God, natural disaster, etc), this unit becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to refund your deposit and cancel your reservation without advanced notice.
