Spacious and cozy apartment in semi-detached house, located in a peaceful district by the pond Salmilamp, build 2009. The apartment is very clean and modern. View to Salmilampi from the large windows of living areas, dining area and kitchen. There are many birds on the pond, including the swan family. The otter has also seen on the pond.

The large windows have great views over the pond Salmilampi and Salmilampi hill. The landscape changes according to the seasons, from summer green to the autumn colors and not forgetting the snow white in winter.

Ski trail (Talvijärvi – Konttainen) goes less than a hundred meters away.

The kitchen has tableware for 12 people. On the ground floor three bedrooms, one with double bed and two with single beds. On the upper floor large bedroom (double bed + extra bed), part of the space has a low room height. Ground floor area is 99 m² and upstairs area 17,5 m², part of the space of upstairs has a low room height.

Spacious sauna offer view to the pond Salmilampi. The glazed terrace has a gas grill. In addition, there is a new shared cooking hut (within 50 meters) only for the residents staying in the area (key can be found in the apartment). Two bicycles (Kaunotar and Kulkuri) for shopping trips are located in a separate storage space. There is also a ski waxing table on the storage. Household waste must be sorted, there are facilities for waste sorting in the apartment and in the area.

During the ski season 2024/2025, two tickets for the ski lift are included in the price. Lift tickets are possible in use also in the season 2025/2026. This is desided seasonally. 27 km to the north from Kuusamo, ski resort 3,8 km, grocery 2,8 km, ski bus 800 meters, cross-country ski trail about 100 meters, Salmilampi pond 20 m. Other distances: Oulanka National Park/Karhunkierros trail 20 km, Riisitunturi 26 km.

Available 2 snowshoes for adults and 1 snowshoes for children.
More information: The apartment has Wi-Fi (150 MB), which suits well for teleworking, for example. The living area has DNA TV, which allows you to watch all available on-demand streaming services like Netflix, Viaplay, HBO, Ruutu, Yle Areena, C-More, YouTube. Please use your own credentials in order to use these services.

The living area has a large and comfy sofa set and a light fireplace.

Reservations start at 16 and end at 12 (also weekend reservations). In the low season, it is possible to make reservations also for less than a week.

Payment Policy
There are two ways to pay for your booking:

1. Credit card (VISA or Mastercard)
2. Invoice

For bookings within 14 days prior to arrival only credit cards are accepted.

A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.

The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.

What happens to my breakage deposit?

The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your booking by phone, post or eMail. Your cancellation comes into effect on the date of receipt of your notification.

If you withdraw from the contract, we will invoice you the following cancellation charges:

A) up to 43 days before the start of the rental period: 10% of the rental
B) 42 to 29 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental
C) 28 to 2 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental
D) 1 day before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental
