Hello. We are pleased to welcome guests to our family cottage, Suzy's Beach House. Our home away from home - we love Wasaga Beach in all seasons . In the winter we enjoy the proximity to many near by ski hills and the summer the beach is a short walk from the cottage. We are dog friendly as our two dogs, Buzz and Austin, frequent the cottage between guest stays. As we often use the cottage, we will provide flexible check-in and check-out times where possible.

Getting around
There is parking for two to three cars in the driveway.
Guests can park at provincial parks and municipal parking lots for a fee during the day.

Check In: 4PM - 12AM
We like to greet guests in person to give you a tour, answer any questions and make sure you can get in. As per Town By-Laws we must keep a guest register.
A day before check-in we will request a 2 hour check-in window.
If we are unable to meet you in person, a door code will be provided.

Smoking and vaping are only permitted outside.
OCCUPANCY LIMITS
Up to 6 guests may be accommodated over night between 11 pm and 7 am. You may have up to a total of 10 people between 10 am to 11 pm.
GUEST REGISTER & RENTAL AGREEMENT
The Town requires us to keep a guest register including name, address, contact information, motor vehicle make and model, license plate number. To avoid complaints to Town By-Law, you will be required to provide this information and may be asked to sign a Renter's Agreement, prior to check-in.
TOWN BY-LAWS
Guests must comply with all of Town By-Laws and are responsible for paying fines and legal costs.
MAIL
If you need to receive mail you please make your own arrangements as mail is not delivered to the door. Amazon and similar deliveries to the door are okay. A $250 fee will apply if you need us to retrieve your mail.
WASTE COLLECTION - MONDAY AM:
Garbage, recycling and compost pick-up by the County of Simcoe is every Monday morning. A waste calendar is in the kitchen and the County of Simcoe website. You must put containers at end of driveway Sunday night.
PETS
Two dogs are permitted but must be listed on the booking, a pet fee applies.
Dogs must have flea and tick treatment.
CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Empty fridge/freezer.
- Wash all dishes, put in cupboard or drying rack.
- If checking out on a Sunday or Monday, garbage/recycling must be placed at end of curb.
- We will remove all linens, do the laundry and deep cleaning.
- Lock the doors.
- Have a safe drive home.
RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT EXEMPTION
This rental is exempt from the Residential Tenancies Act as per Section 5(a) on seasonal and temporary cottage rentals. In this regard, a contract may be required to be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to check-in.No smokingNo parties or eventsCheck-in is 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel at least 31 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 75% refund. As monthly stays are difficult to secure on short-notice, unless we are able to re-book, 25% will not be refunded.
