Our home is house trained dog friendly. Dogs are NOT allowed in the pool, on the furniture or allowed to be left alone in on on the property unless crated. Pool Cleaning Company will charge a hefty fine to guests for violating this rule. IF your dog cannot stay off the furniture or beds, you must cover the furniture with your personal bedding.

We understand the financial investment you are making into your vacation, so we want to be sure you are getting what you pay for. All our photos are current and continue to be updated. There may be some slight changes (improvements) to the decor as we replace or update along the way. Since we keep a weekly video on file, we can provide you with an up-to-date accounting of any changes. Our promise is that we deliver what we say we do. What you see is what you get...well actually what you see in person is far better than what our photos show. There is no trickery in our pictures or content. Our Facebook and Instagram accounts maintain real time footage so you can rest assured that you are renting exactly what you are seeing.
All new flooring throughout was installed in Feb 2024.No carpet in the bedrooms and the bunk bed has been separated. New Quartz Kitchen and Bathroom Countertops were installed November 2023. New Pergola was built in November 2023.
Here it is! A Beautiful Backyard Oasis with a Pool and Hot Tub, Turf for Cornhole Play or Cartwheels, Side Yard for dog business, and less than a 90 second walk to the wide and spacious Wilkins St. beach access! The ocean is so close you can see it and hear it from the house! And the beach access point is just around the corner on the residential Wilkins St with a generous entrance and miles of beautiful beach just waiting for you! Grab your coffee to catch the sunrise then return for some breakfast and to gather the rest of your crew. Beach chairs and a beach cart make the safe and easy walk to the beach a breeze.
Enjoy the dolphins, sand pipers, loons and pelicans throughout the day and in the morning and evening keep your eyes fixed on the sand and be entertained by the busy ghost crabs. Stay as long as you like or leave and return at your leisure. The house and the beach are THAT close and convenient! When you are ready to depart, pack up your supplies and roll them back in the balloon wheeled beach cart which is located in the laundry/utility room.
Upon your return, rinse all the sand off in the spacious outdoor shower and head through the gate to that refreshing, sparkling blue pool. Or sit in under the deck in the shade and take a plunge whenever you want. When its time to eat, enjoy a well-equipped kitchen and gas grill to make the day complete. You can choose to eat near the pool or take cover from the sun on the front deck or the front platform deck.
After the meal, head back to the beach and play frisbee, fly a kite, or take a walk as the tide rolls in, or simply gaze in the sand and watch the ghost crabs scurry as they come out to clean their homes, wet their gills and snag a little dinner themselves.
As the evening darkens, flip the switch to enjoy patio lights under the house and in the pool area. And dont forget to turn on the pool light and pick your water color! Feeling chilly? Head into the hot tub for a relaxing soak before bed.
This wonderful H style home located on the highly desirable Lindbergh Ave in Kitty Hawk is less than 150 yards to direct beach access of miles of family and dog friendly beach! The open and spacious living, dining and kitchen is centrally located with two bedrooms on both sides. On one side, the King bedroom shares a full bathroom (tub/shower combo) with a Full & Twin bedroom. On the other side of the living area is a full hall bathroom (shower stall) along with a Queen Bedroom and the Twin Bedroom. Two front sliding doors give you access to a house length front deck where you can outdoor dine and see and hear the ocean. The large back deck leads to the keyless entry door as well as wonderful sunset skies.
Underneath the home you will find a cool entertainment space with outdoor lighting that is great for relaxing, escaping the sun or even escaping the rain! Theres a fun Selfie Station and a fish cleaning table for all your freshly caught meals. The back of the house is where you will find the BBQ grill, Hot Tub, Turf with Cornhole, and of course the Pool and another break area under the back deck. A new Pergola that extends the length of the Turf
There is a convenient Laundry/Utility room with a full-size washer and dryer, an extra full-size refrigerator/freezer, sand toys, bikes, chairs, and a beach cart. This is also a great space to store your luggage and coolers for the week. A keyless entry to this room provides additional security.
Lindbergh Avenue has sidewalks for walking or chalk art, is a safe street for jogging, walking your dogs, or riding bikes. The propertys back yard backs up to a quiet access road for quiet strolls as well.
Whether you want to spend a full day at the beach or come and go at your pace; whether you love to worship the sun or admire it from under cover; if you love being at the beach and close to everything, this home will check all those boxes.
Not only is this home perfect for families, but its also perfect for those wanting to bring an extra friend or two. With the option of sleeping up to nine guests, there is plenty of space to feel connected yet comfortable.

RATES & FEES: No one likes fees. So, there are none. Dogs stay free, too.

50% of total is due at booking and 50% is due 45 days before check-in date.
Refundable Damage Deposit
We do not collect a damage deposit. We expect our guests to treat our home with respect. Any damage is the guest responsibility and will be pursued. A signed Rental Agreement is required. Pictures/video of the home and property are taken and kept on file before guest arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Please refer to your trip insurance plan for any cancellation refund. We are not in the trip insurance industry and therefore do not offer refunds. To protect your vacation investment, we highly recommend you purchase appropriate trip insurance. Please review the Rental Agreement for further clarification.

Note that the owner is under no obligation to re-rent this property but if we are able to re-rent the property for the same time frame at the same rate, we will refund monies paid to the owner minus a $250 administration fee. Trip insurance policies are typically less than this admin fee and are likely to reimburse all lost costs. We strongly encourage trip insurance.
