You are responsible for any damages and owner must clean up after your pet. WILDLIFE:
The cabin is located in a heavily wooded area. Although regular pest control is done, wildlife is part of the landscape, and bugs may enter the house at times. No refunds will be issued due to bugs or other wildlife. You may be lucky enough to see visitors outside the cabin like deer, turkeys, other birds, bears, squirrels, chipmunks, butterflies, etc. Welcome to their turf!
Please help us to deter unwanted wildlife wherever possible by not leaving any food or garbage outside that could attracts bears, insects and other pests. We recommend bug spray in the warmer months. Please always double check that the bear-proof dumpster closes properly after depositing trash bags.
VENOMOUS WILDLIFE
Although we’ve never seen venomous snakes or spiders on the property, they are native to the area so you may encounter them. Please familiarize yourself with what copperheads, timber rattlesnakes, black widows and brown recluses look like as these are the most common venomous critters in the area. Please avoid them and notify the host immediately if you find any venomous critters on the property. Please seek medical attention immediately if bit. The closest urgent care are located about 15 min away in Cleveland. By coming on this property, you acknowledge that you are aware of the wildlife risks and accept coming on the property at your own risk. You agree that you will not hold the host responsible for any compensation in this situation.
