On the ground floor of a smart new development, this apartment sleeps 2 people. The décor is alpine but with a contemporary twist. The living room is flooded with sunlight thanks to a huge window which looks out at the mountains. There is a glass door that leads directly onto the shared gardens. The apartment has an outside table and seats plus a sun lounger for the summer months. Back indoors, the sitting room has a luxurious double sofa complete with faux fur throws. There is a flat screen tv and a neat dining table with 3 chairs.

The open plan kitchenette is well equipped, and has a full cooker with a hob and oven, a fridge, toaster and Nespresso machine.

Bedroom: Tucked away next to the living room, behind a thick curtain, the wooden bedroom has a comfortable double bed with a faux fur throw and cushions.

Location
The apartment is in the centre of the village of Argentière, a short walk to the lifts for Les Grands Montets skiing area, ski slopes and shuttle buses.

The slopes around Argentière are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets.

All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. For something more relaxing there is the renowned QC Termes spa in Chamonix (10 mins drive).

Geneva airport is a 1.5 hour drive from the apartment. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, either by bus (22 mins) or by train (18mins), on the Mont Blanc Express.
