Get ready for your off-grid adventure! This cabin is located on the La Sal Mountains just 45 miles away from downtown Moab. With room for 8 people, these are great cabins to enjoy everything Moab has to offer while staying away from the crowds.
This property is primarily heated with the fireplace. Please bring your own firewood if you desire to have a fire in the wood burning stove (highly recommended in the cooler months).
These cabins sit in the trees on the La Sal Mountains and are perfect for couples or families that love to see the sites but want to be away from it all. There is plenty of space to kick back and relax, or if you want to explore, hiking to the fully stocked trout\steelhead pond in the valley below or on the 4 miles of trails through the canyon along the creek. This is the Wolf Spring Cabin #1 along with a Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse does have electricity but no water or restroom facilities and has mattresses for one queen bed and two twin beds. It is perfect for couples with older kids who can stay by themselves in the evening. Note that there is no bedding provided for the bunkhouse so make sure to bring sleeping bags with you for the people staying there. This cabin is located on the La Sal Mountains just 45 miles away from downtown Moab.
You will LOVE the amazing Tree House available for your use, 30 feet in the air which offers truly spectacular views!! With downtown Moab a short drive away, you are never going to run out of things to do while staying here. This cabin is situated central to Arches and Canyonlands/Needles National Parks along with many other local attractions. Also, there are ATV and Mountain Biking trails in the area that are accessible from the ranch.
There is a full kitchen with all the cookware needed to provide a great meal in Cabin 1. The bedroom features a queen bed with two sleeping mats (please bring blankets or sleeping bags for the mats). The bathroom features a full soaking tub with a separate shower. The power for the cabin is provided by solar so please, no curling irons or blow dryers. Electric frying pans and crocks pots wont be available as well. And please be aware that as part of your off-grid experience at times there might be power outages as weather conditions or other issues might cause problems with the system.
As mentioned, cell phone service is limited in this area, but it might be possible to make calls at various locations on the ranch depending on your carrier. Verizon seems to be the best carrier option and you can usually get a decent signal at the gate to the resort just a short distance from the cabins. Because of our remote location, we do not offer WiFi or Cable. Also, be aware that you will need to drive up a gravel road of about 4 miles after turning off the highway and then drive up a dirt road less than a mile to the cabins. Most cars can handle the drive with no problems, 4wd is not necessary however cars with low clearances are not recommended and conditions will vary after rains and snow. You will need to bring your own firewood if you plan on using the wood burning stove as the stove is the only source of heat (highly recommended during the cooler months).
Additional cabins are available on the same ranch if you have friends or family that would like to join you.
