HOUSE RULES No loud outside noise between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, please be respectful of the neighbors and refer to “Dover Guest Rules” Do not unplug/turn off the router/modem or tamper with the outside security cameras. No parties. Small events, please ask. Do not drive over the lawn to the road. We ask that you please use the driveway. No bon fires (extremely tall) in the firepit. It is meant for a couple pieces of firewood at a time. There is no parking on the street per city ordinance. No smoking or vaping inside the home of tobacco or “other” tobacco products * No unregistered pets* When you are done using the patio umbrella, please close it to prevent potential damage. Do not use the patio umbrella on extremely windy days. Do not open all the windows and leave them open if the AC or heater is on. Check-in time is 3PM. If you need or plan on arriving earlier then 3PM, PLEASE communicate with us. If we can accommodate an earlier check-in, we will try to, but we require communication. Above all else, have fun! *Failure to follow the no smoking/vaping inside and no unregistered pet rules will result in an additional cleaning charge starting at $250 per room. By making a reservation with us, guest agrees to abide by these house rules, and agrees to be held accountable for any damages caused during their stay. If there are any questions or anything in the above rules needs clarification, please ask prior to making your reservation. Before using the Instant Pot, please read the provided safety instructions. If you have any questions about its operation, please send us message. PETIQUETTE RULES 1. Pet fee is $100.00 per pet, per short stay to cover the cost of general cleaning. The pet fee does not cover the cost of damage, extra cleaning, purposeful neglect, or disregard for city ordinances. The monthly pet fee is $250 per pet, pre-approval required. 2. Pets cannot be left unattended without being kenneled. If you need a kennel, please let us know. 3. Pets must be non-aggressive and house-trained, NO PEE PADS. Dogs limit 1 under 50lbs (large and X-large breeds are on pre-approval basis only), must be recently bathed, groomed, and on flea treatment. 4. Pets must always be under the owner's control at all times - with barking, behavior, and obedience. Per city ordinance, dogs must be on a leash in the front yard or while walking. Failure to follow the ordinance can result in a fine from code enforcement. Dogs are free to play off leash in the fenced backyard only. 5. Owners must pick up dog poop, per city ordinance. Please do not bury poop. $100 fee for dog poop left. 6. Do not allow pets to scratch on wood floors, doors, furniture, or the front window or window ledges. 7. Do not allow running or jumping on wood floors with dog nails to keep floors pristine. 8. Do not allow pets on non-covered furniture (there are old sheets marked "P" to cover non protected furniture), or allow pets on any of the bedding. Additional cleaning fees may apply. 9. Please note there is a fully fenced backyard, but it is your responsibility to keep an eye on your pet. We are more than happy to assist if the gates need to be blocked to prevent escape artists from getting out. 10. Do not allow pets to dig up the yard (snow holes are fine) or chew up the berry bushes. $100 fee per hole or bush. 11. By making a reservation with us, you agree that you have read these rules and agree to follow them. You also agree that by failing to follow these rules, you will take responsibility for the damage you or your pet causes and pay for any extra cleaning required or any repairs needed as a result of you or your pet. CHECKOUT Please close all windows, including storm windows, prior to leaving. Lock both the front door and back door when you leave. Please make sure all of your items you brought with you are with you upon departure, including c ell phone chargers and shoes. Cost of shipping + hourly rate will be charged to ship items back. If any chairs or lamps are moved during your stay, please be sure that they are put back to their appropriate location before your departure.
