A stunning duplex apartment in southern Chamonix, close to all the amenities and with uninterrupted mountain views. An ideal base for an alpine adventure at any time of year.

On the third floor (with lift) of a modern residence, this apartment sleeps 5 people in comfort. The contemporary décor is stylish, with neutral colours and wooden flooring throughout. The bright living room is well laid out with banquette seating next to the French window, which leads out onto a private balcony with a table and chairs, so guests can sit and enjoy the view across the town square to the mountains beyond. Back inside, there is a dining table and chairs by the windows, next to the beautifully renovated kitchen. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with induction and cooker hobs, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and Nespresso machine. There is a separate, cosy sitting room with a sofa.

Please note that there are several bars close to the apartment and the stairs inside the apartment are not safe for children.

Location

The apartment is in the middle of south Chamonix, just a 5-minute walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car station. The Chamonix Aiguille du Midi railway station, for the Mont-Blanc-Express, is only a 3-minute walk away.

The nearby slopes are popular with skiers and snowboarders alike. The peak of Aiguille du Midi, close to Mont Blanc, is a magnet for mountaineers, rock climbing and paragliding in the summer months. There are also trails for hikers and mountain bikers. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, including white water rafting, golf and horse riding.

Chamonix has all the amenities visitors need throughout the year, including many bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. For self-catering, the weekly market takes place every Tuesday morning. Here you can find the very best local produce, from cheese to wine, to try at home. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 15-minute drive from the apartment.
