Unless it was a last minute booking, I would have the funds already in my checking account, but would Square/Stripe refuse to process additional transactions for me or not payout on later transactions? As the Host, do I need to defend against the chargeback, and if so, how does that work?

We were just in Amsterdam and stayed at a B&amp;B that was a home, with two separate apartments for short term stays.  The map and and the wording

We were just in Amsterdam and stayed at a B&amp;B that was a home, with two separate apartments for short term stays. The map and and the wording in this article are clearly setup to be negative toward short term rentals. The map makes it look like the entire city is short term rentals. From my visit I dont think that was the case. I also dont think we disturbed the neighborhood. This article uses words like illegal, violation and against the laws. Amsterdam law allows for rental of your property for a total of about 60 days in the year, with 4 people maximum in a property. Wow that is restrictive.As vacation home owners this is something to watch. Restrictive laws in my area would be a big problem for me.

These laws will change and get tougher worldwide. We will be preparing Houfy for home-exchange and long term rentals (30 days +)

My husband Mike and I love to travel and have been throughout the 50 US states, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Africa, Australia, and New Zealand are still on our destination list, but we've visited all the other continents save Antarctica, which is a tad too cold for our tastes. 
 
We've both worked in the software industry, in telecommunications and banking, and Mike enjoys writing fiction. Mike speaks Spanish fairly fluently, which helps on our travels, and he can speak a bit of Mandarin, Russian, French, and German. Right now is is learning Dutch.
