Casco Viejo (also known as Casco Antiguo) is an effervescent neighborhood with its beautiful restored colonial buildings, home to the President Palace, the French Embassy & a gorgeous promenade with awesome views to the citys skyline & the Amador Causeway (entrance of the Panama Canal).
It also offers fine dining & entertainment with the National Theatre, great outdoor cafés for a nice drink on one of the charming plazas which is an enjoyment by itself!
Its perfect location between down-town & Amador, a 5 to 10 Min’s taxi ride, makes it a conveniently central pied-à-terre!
