We cannot accommodate cats, due to allergies. We are happy to have you bring your canine companion with you for your stay under the following guidelines:
1) The animal is at least 12 months old, potty-trained and up to date on all flea and tick preventatives.
2) The animal must be accompanied by you at all times while on the premises. If you absolutely can't take Fido with you, he must be properly confined in a crate/kennel.
3) Animals are not permitted on any of the furniture or beds. (Evidence of pets on the beds or couches will result in a $200 charge)
4) Our pet fee is $50 per pet, per reservation. We will accept up to two dogs per booking.
5) Pets MUST BE LEASHED at all times entering and leaving the house, and guests are responsible for picking up all waste. The yard is not fenced in, and we have local regulations prohibiting unleashed pets outside. Fido is not permitted to free roam off-leash, even in the backyard and driveway. We appreciate your cooperation.
6) No unregistered pets. A $200 fine will be assessed for each unregistered that enters the property.

You and your fellow guests will sleep soundly on the brand new, memory foam mattresses and cozy bedding! One of the bedrooms also offers a desk for those needing to get some work done and a yoga mat so you don’t have to miss a workout!
Use the 55” Fire TV to log into your favorite streaming platform or have some laughs with your friends playing one of the games tucked inside the coffee table!
We keep the house stocked with tourist information on all the fun local attractions and trails so you wont run out of fun places to explore during your stay.

I have learned so much about the tourism and hospitality business through my travels to over 30 countries and I'm so excited to get my turn to welcome other travelers into my own home here in the heart of Gainesville, Florida! My husband Andrew and I are midwesterners but have fallen in love with the Sunshine State. We love helping our guests discover all that this area has to offer! When we're not busy working or renovating houses, you can usually find us hiking, playing with our two giant puppies, enjoying some tasty food or a drink at one of our local breweries, visiting the beach, or planning our next trip to Central America to practice our Spanish.

Free off-street parking on site. You will likely need a vehicle to get around town, but there is a nice park, a Publix, and a few restaurants within walking distance, and downtown is only a 20 minute walk away.

House Rules
A copy of your government-issued photo ID is required prior to check-in.
Please be aware this home is located in a wooded area of Central Florida, where wildlife is abundant. If you don't want bugs, mosquitos, spiders, snakes, armadillos, lizards, raccoons, palmetto bugs and/or cockroaches in the house, please make sure you do not leave the door or windows open, and place all trash and food waste in the proper, covered receptacles. We do our utmost to prevent pests from entering the property, and ask that you kindly do the same. We do not issue refunds for bugs and/or animals found in or outside of the property.
No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted anywhere on the property, including the back porch and yard. Any violation of this rule, including e-cigarettes, tobacco, or marijuana use will result in a $250 fine.
If your group leaves cigarette butts in the lawn or driveway, you will be charged a $25 fee for extra cleaning.
Guests are not permitted to host parties or events on our property. Any violation of this rule will result in your booking being canceled. You and your guests will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be issued.
Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that you keep the noise levels to minimum between 10pm and 8am. We have a decibel monitoring device in the home to ensure that noise levels don’t become a nuisance.
No covering or disabling exterior security cameras or unplugging the modem or router. Any tampering with the Wi-Fi or security devices will result in a cancellation of your stay without refund.
No unregistered guests without prior host approval.
This unit is designed to sleep up to six (6) people. We ask that you declare all guests, First Name/ Last Name / Age, at least 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival. Anyone not declared is in violation of our policy and will result in a forfeiture/ cancelation of reservation, at full cost of reservation with NO REFUND. The Host reserves the right to have any or all persons, that violate this house rule, removed or vacated from the property with state/ local law enforcement. A fee of $25 per person that is on the property at the time the violation occurred, will be charged, in accordance with AirB&B policy.
Please do not eat in the bedrooms.
Please do not flush anything other than TP down the toilets and refrain from dying hair during your stay.
Hosts are not responsible for any items left behind.
Guests may not receive mail or packages at this address. If you are staying for a longer stay, we recommend getting a P.O. Box. The closest post office is the Main Street branch.

Payment is due at the time of booking. We will put a temporary hold on your card for the refundable $500 security deposit, which will be returned to you the week after check-out, assuming no damage to the property.

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.
